Welcome!
What type of housing will be needed in the City of Omro by 2025? What impact will the proposed bypass of Highway 21 have on Omro’s downtown? How can the Fox River play a role in attracting visitors and tourists to the City of Omro? Who will pay for the utilities needed to serve new residential, commercial, and industrial growth in Omro?
These are just some of the questions that the City of Omro Plan Commission answered as part of a comprehensive planning process. In April 2003, the City of Omro’s Planning Commission began work on the plan with guidance from Martenson & Eisele, Inc. The final plan was approved on April 19, 2005. The final plan is now complete and ready for your review.
