2022 Sanitary Sewer Lining City of Omro, Winnebago County The City of Omro will receive sealed bids for 2022 sanitary sewer lining until 12:00 pm Tuesday January 4th, 2022. The specifications are on file and may be examined at www.omro-wi.com. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Sealed Bid for 2022 Sewer Lining” and show the name and address of the bidder. The sealed bid envelope shall be addressed to: City of Omro Administrator, 205 South Webster Avenue, P.O. Box 399, Omro, WI 54963. The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of section 62.15, 66.29 and 66.23 Wis. Stats. Requires 5% Bid Bond. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the consent of the City of Omro for a period of sixty (60) days from the scheduled time of the closing of the bids. Proposal Requirement and Conditions 2022 Cured In Place Pipe
The Bidder, signing and submitting this Proposal, agrees and declares as a condition thereof, to be bound by the following conditions and requirements.
The Bidder declares that he has carefully examined the site of, and the Proposal, Plans, Specifications and Contract forms for the work contemplated, and it is assumed that the Bidder has investigated and is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered, as to the character, quality, and quantities of work to be performed and materials to be furnished, and as to the requirements of the Specifications, Special Provisions and Contract. It is mutually agreed that submission of a Proposal shall be considered conclusive evidence that the Bidder has made such examination.
The bidder submits herewith a bid bond, equal to 5% of total bid proposal, certified, or cashiers check payable to the party as designated in the advertisement inviting proposals, to be retained by and become property of the owner of the work on the event the undersigned shall fail to execute the contract and contract bond.
The Bidder declares that he understands that the estimate of quantities in the attached schedule of prices is approximate only and that the attached quantities may be greater or less in accordance with the Specifications.
The Bidder agrees to perform the said Work, for and in consideration of the payment of the amount becoming due on account of Work performed, according to the unit prices bid in the following schedule of prices, and to accept such amounts in full payment for said Work. The Bidder declares that if he is awarded the Contract, he will execute the contract agreement and begin and complete the Work within the time named herein.
Project Scheduling
Work may begin after contracts are executed. All work shall be completed on or before February 15, 2022 The contractor shall proceed in such a manner as to interfere with traffic as little as possible. Access to all properties shall be maintained at all times unless previously stated. All traffic control shall conform to Manual on Uniformed Traffic control devices. No exceptions. Schedule for any street closures shall be coordinated thru Public Works Director.
