E-Pay Online Payments for Water & Sewer Bills is Now Available!

You can now receive your water & sewer bill directly to your e-mail and pay your bill through your checking account or credit card.  Automatic payments can be set up that will pay the bill when it is due (10 days after receiving e-mail), eliminating the possibility of late fees! 

Payments are drawn from your account on the following dates if you sign up for autopay: 
January 25 (bill received by email on January 15)
April 25 (bill received by email on April 15)
July 25 (bill received by email on July 15)
October 25 (bill received by email on October 15)

If you don't like auto-pay, just log in and pay any portion of your bill at any time.  Our new system lets you see a history of your account, including previous bills, usage and payments. You do not need to sign up for auto-billing or auto-pay to see your history, so log in and check it out!

 There is no fee for paying by check, but keep in mind there is a 3% charge for all credit card payments.

CONVENIENCE & FLEXIBILITY
Now, residents of the City of Omro can enjoy the convenience and flexibility of credit card payments & E-Checks for payment of taxes or bills.  In cooperation with Official Payments Corporation, the City of Omro now offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to pay taxes or bills by telephone or directly over the Internet.  There is a convenience fee applied.

TAXES & BILL PAYMENTS AVAILABLE


- Real Estate Taxes paid in December or January (The fee will be 2.75% with a minimum charge of $2.00)  Real Estate Taxes paid after January 31 should be paid to Winnebago County.
- Personal Property Taxes (The fee will be 2.75% with a minimum charge of $2.00)
- Parking Tickets (The fee will be $3.95 for bills up to $100)
- Court Fines/Citations (The fee will be $4.95 for fines and fees up to $200)

This service is safe, reliable, and in accordance with all state and government regulations.  In order to process your payment, Official Payments Corporation, the credit card service provider, charges a nominal convenience fee based on the amount and/or type of the transaction.

EASY PAYMENT VIA PHONE OR INTERNET
To pay by credit card call the toll-free number 1-800-2PayTax (800-272-9829) or visit City of Omro E-Pay to pay taxes by credit card over the Internet.  For telephone payments, enter your Jurisdiction Code when prompted.

You will be asked to enter information such as:
- Select a Service (Local Payments)
- Jurisdiction Code (6797)
- The type of tax or bill
- A bill or parcel number
- Your credit card information
- The amount of the tax or bill payment

The system will tell you:
- The total of your payment, including the appropriate fee
- Obtain approval of the charge
- Provide you with a confirmation number.  Be sure to write down your confirmation number as a record of your payment.  The charge will also appear on your credit card statement: the tax amount on one line, the convenience fee amount on a separate line.
