2019 Road Work
City of Omro
The City of Omro will receive sealed bids for 2019 Street Paving on Alder Avenue, Industrial Dr. and miscellaneous street repair work until 12:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2019. The specifications are on file and may be examined at Omro City Hall. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Sealed Bid for 2019 Road Work” and show the name and address of the bidder. The sealed bid envelope shall be addressed to: City of Omro Administrator, 205 S. Webster Avenue, P.O. Box 399, Omro, WI 54963. The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of section 62.15, 66.29 and 66.23 Wis. Stats. Requires a 5% Bid Bond. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the City of Omro for a period of sixty (60) days from the scheduled time of closing of the bids. The City of Omro reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process.

CLEAN UP WEEK
The city landfill on South Webster will be open from 9 AM - 6 PM Monday - Friday and 8 AM - Noon on Saturday and we will collect large items that cannot go in your curbside container such as brush, grass, building materials, carpeting, appliances, and furniture. We will not accept: Tires, batteries, oil, paint, chemicals,electronics, refrigerators, air conditioners or items containing Freon. Electronic cleanup day will be held on June 27th.
