The City of Omro lives up to its reputation as being a safe, proud and involved community. This is reflected in Omro's schools, neighborhoods, churches, organizations and other community services.
Located just 8 miles west of Oshkosh in the heart of Wisconsin's Fox River Valley, Omro offers the perfect combination of business, industry, residential amenities and recreational pleasures to win your heart.
The city works hard to maintain its excellent quality of life in order to make the community an even greater place in which to live, work, and conduct business.
OMRO NEEDS YOUR INPUT! PLEASE TAKE THIS QUICK SURVEY!
As the Planning Commission works on updating the Comprehensive Plan, decisions are being made by the City of Omro that will influence the character of the city for years and decades to come. The City of Omro needs your input to guide these decisions along. The topics that the city is asking about now are regarding general QUALITY OF LIFE questions and about whether to release the HIGHWAY 21 BYPASS that is currently mapped by the city. The city will use your input to move forward with our plan and determine how growth will occur in Omro.
The city will be posting about this on Facebook, the city webpage, the Omro Herald, through flyers and posters, and various other avenues, as well. Please share those messages with your friends and family, or share directly from any question on Polco, our civic communication outreach website. If you do not wish to complete this on-line, hard copies are available at City Hall and will be placed at the library.
To access the survey, go to https://polco.us/groups/city/omro-wi and click on "Sign Up" in the upper right hand corner. There are 3 choices, sign up through Facebook, by using your Google account, or by entering your name, zip code and email address. We ask for that information so the city counts your input as coming from a registered voter in the area, and so you can receive notifications when the city asks new questions. You'll be anonymous. The city sees only aggregate results, and cannot see how you as an individual respond.
Thank you for your input! Together, we can make Omro a better place to live, work and do business!
