The Omro Police Department has participated the last 5 years with the Drug Take Back Event occurring twice a year.

We are pleased to announce that we will now be taking unwanted prescription drugs year-round during regular office hours, Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Unwanted prescription meds can be brought to the Police Department and placed in a secure drop box in the front lobby area.

  • Over-the Counter Medications
  • Vials & Pet Medications
  • Ointments
  • Patches
  • Vape Cartridges & Devices (Batteries Removed)
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Flares
  • Needles/sharps
  • Any Vape Devices Containing Batteries of Any Kind
  • Mercury Thermometers
  • Aerosol Cans
  • Biohazardous Materials (Anything Containing a Bodily Fluid or Blood)
  • Personal Care Products (Shampoo, Soaps, Lotions, Sunscreens, Etc.)
  • Household Hazardous Waste (Paint, Pesticides, Chemicals, Oil, or Gas) or Acids
