About Omro
Omro, nestled along the Fox River in northeastern Wisconsin, is a family-friendly city known for quality schools, scenic parks, and signature community events like the Memorial Day Car Show, Independence Day Celebration, Rhubarb Fest, and the Firemen’s Street Dance. With a population of about 3,650, the city operates with a dedicated team of full-time and seasonal employees across several departments.

Strategic Goals
The plan outlines 8 core goals plus one implementation readiness goal to build capacity for success. These are categorized into internal, external, and hybrid goals:

Each initiative includes a timeline, responsible parties, and required resources such as training, funding, or policy changes. Progress will be monitored using data benchmarks and reviewed regularly to ensure alignment with our vision.
Transparent tracking, community updates, and periodic reviews will help keep the community informed and engaged.

Community members also played a key role in shaping the priorities outlined through community workshops.
